Sustainable Procurement Policy

1. Purpose and Commitment

Best Pick Energy is committed to conducting its procurement activities with integrity, transparency, and long-term sustainable value creation. This Sustainable Procurement Policy establishes the Company’s framework for integrating Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) considerations into procurement processes and supply chain management.

The Policy aligns with international best practice including ISO 20400 (Sustainable Procurement) guidance and industry standards applicable to the energy and industrial sectors in which Best Pick Energy operates.

In recognition of Best Pick Energy’s warehousing and logistics operations, this Policy incorporates environmental, health, safety, and operational controls relevant to storage, handling, and distribution activities.

Best Pick Energy expects all suppliers and service providers to comply with applicable labour laws, uphold human rights, maintain safe working conditions, and operate in accordance with the highest standards of ethical business conduct, including anti-corruption, sanctions, and AML/CFT compliance.

Best Pick Energy promotes environmentally responsible practices within its warehouse and supply chain activities, including efficient resource use, proper storage and handling of industrial materials, waste management, and emissions awareness in logistics. Best Pick Energy supports transparent, traceable, and resilient supply chains while maintaining strong oversight mechanisms to mitigate environmental, social, and governance risks associated with its trading activities.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to all procurement of goods, services, and works undertaken by Best Pick Energy, including subsidiaries, affiliates, project operations, and warehouse facilities. It applies to all suppliers, contractors, consultants, intermediaries, logistics providers, and third-party partners engaged by the Company.

3. Sustainable Procurement Principles

A. Human Rights, Labour Standards and Workplace Safety
Suppliers must comply with applicable labour laws relating to wages, working hours, leave, and employee benefits, prohibit forced and child labour, promote diversity and equal opportunity, and provide safe and healthy working conditions.

Suppliers operating within or in connection with Best Pick Energy’s warehouse and logistics operations must comply with occupational health and safety requirements including safe material handling, certified equipment usage, proper chemical storage, UAE Civil Defence regulations, and deployment of trained personnel.

B. Ethical Business Conduct and Trade Compliance
Suppliers must conduct business according to the highest standards of integrity and comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including anti-bribery, anti- corruption, AML/CFT, sanctions, export controls, customs regulations, fair competition laws, conflict of interest obligations, and intellectual property protection.

Given the nature of Best Pick Energy’s trading activities, particular importance is placed on regulatory compliance in cross-border transactions, accurate documentation, and transparency in commercial dealings.

C. Environmental Stewardship in Operations and Logistics
Procurement decisions consider lifecycle environmental impacts including emissions, energy efficiency, water use, and waste management.

Best Pick Energy prioritises energy-efficient warehouse systems, responsible packaging practices, waste segregation and recycling, safe handling of hazardous materials, environmentally responsible logistics partners, and efficient inventory management to reduce environmental impact.

D. Product Integrity, Safety and Data Protection 
Suppliers must provide products and services that comply with applicable technical and safety requirements, ensure proper labelling and traceability, maintain adequate quality control processes, and protect commercially sensitive and customer data.

E. Responsible and Transparent Supply Chains 
Best Pick Energy promotes responsible sourcing and supply chain transparency, wherein is encouraged to source materials ethically, avoid counterfeit or non- Page 3 of 3 compliant goods, support sustainable alternatives where feasible, and prioritise local suppliers and SMEs where appropriate.

4. Supplier Assessment and Due Diligence

Sustainability criteria form part of supplier evaluation and selection processes:

• ESG-related policies and certifications
• Evidence of environmental performance metrics
• Labour and human rights compliance documentation
• Governance and compliance frameworks

For warehouse-related suppliers and contractors, additional evaluation criteria may include:

• HSE certifications (e.g., ISO 45001 or equivalent)
• Evidence of safe transport and handling procedures
• Equipment maintenance records
• Environmental compliance documentation for waste disposal and hazardous material handling.

Supplier performance may be periodically reviewed. Sustainability and HSE performance may influence contract award decisions and supplier retention.

5. Monitoring and Continuous Improvement

Best Pick Energy implements monitoring mechanisms including supplier audits, ESG assessments, and performance reviews. Warehouse facilities are subject to periodic environmental and safety inspections.

6. Supplier Compliance and Enforcement

Where a supplier does not meet Best Pick Energy’s standards, Best Pick Energy’s will engage constructively to address gaps and may require the implementation of corrective action plans within defined timeframes.`
For critical procurement categories, Best Pick Energy reserves the right to assess alternative suppliers where material sustainability or compliance risks are identified.
